Multi opent Forum Diyarbakir (Turkije)

Forum Diyarbakır, Multi’s 15th shopping centre in Turkey, opened its doors on the 10th of June. Multi Turkey’s second project in the country’s south-eastern Anatolia Region, Forum Diyarbakır is set to become the new centre of attraction of this ancient city, thanks to its distinctive architecture, its exclusive mix of 135 leading local and international brands, social and cultural activities and entertainment areas, in some 54,000 m2 of leasable space.

Multi has developed Forum Diyarbakir in a 50:50 partnership with Turkish developer Altındağ Gayrimenkul, a company with a solid track record of investments in the region and valuable knowledge, and together they have invested EUR 120 million in the project.

Unique mix of leading local and international brands

Forum Diyarbakır will offer Diyarbakır and its neighbouring cities 135 stores, including a hypermarket,
DIY market, movie complex, restaurants, cafes, and a mix of local and foreign brands on a leasable area of 54,000 square meters. These brands include Koçtaş, Media Markt, Tommy Hilfiger, Simit Sarayı, Kahve Dünyası, Roman, Paul&Shark, Vakko, and W, which opened its first store in Diyarbakır.

Forum Diyarbakır to support the development of the city

Multi Turkey board member Hulusi Belgü said : ‘’Forum Diyarbakır will boost the city’s cultural, social and economic development. The shopping and retail industry is growing in line with the Turkish economy and the demand for shopping centres in Anatolia continues to grow. Forum Diyarbakır will be both a centre of attraction for the city and support economic growth. The new shopping centre will also create employment for around 1,500 people.”
