(origineel Engelstalig persbericht) A completely new shopping center of superlatives: huma eleven in Vienna-Simmering opened on Thursday, 3 March 2016. The most modern shopping center in Vienna was built over 26 months on the site of a 30-year-old shopping park at a traditional and successful commercial location in the southeast of Vienna.
The most attractive top brands; a particularly high share of gastronomy areas of over 10%; a modern, light-flooded architectural design; and a large indoor water area, the first on such a scale in an Austrian shopping center, all make huma eleven a leisure meeting place with great quality of stay. This corresponds to the latest international trends for shopping centers. SES Spar European Shopping Centers, which has operated the site for more than 20 years, and the owner, the Munich-based Jost Hurler Group, started the project in 2013.
The new huma eleven offers 60 shops on about 30,000 m². It includes an attractive mix of top international brands and regional providers in the fields of fashion, beauty, technology, sports, services, and catering. By 2017, the center will be enlarged with an addition building section, bringing a total of 800 jobs to the 11th district. huma eleven will then cover over 50,000 m² of lettable area and house 90 stores, making it the second-largest shopping center in Vienna.
